These scholarships may be offered to promote bilateral co-operation, cultural exchange, educational exchanges, and mutual friendship between countries. Most of these scholarship opportunities are open for studies at undergraduate, master, PhD, Postdoctoral level, research or Short Courses at public universities in the provider’s country.

1. Government Of Hungary Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship

The Government of Hungary Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme aims to support the internationalization of Hungarian higher education and its constant development. The Stipendium Hungaricum scholarships are available for bachelor’s, master’s, one-tier master’s, doctoral, and non-degree programmes (preparatory and specialisation courses). The scholarship is fully fundedand provide coverage for tuition fees, living allowance, accommodation and insurance.

2. Holland Scholarship for Non-EEA International Students

The Holland Scholarship program is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to do their Bachelor’s or Master’s in the Netherlands. The scholarship amounts to €5,000, €10,000 or €15,000 depending on the host institution.

3. Swedish Government Scholarship (Swedish Institute Scholarship)

The Swedish Institute (SI) Scholarship is a fully funded programme that allow eligible candidate from participating countries to get a Master’s degree at Swedish universities. This Austrian government scholarship is offered for Undergraduate, Graduates, Postgraduates and PhD students. Fully funded, the scholarship can be taken at Austrian universities or research institutions in the field of Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Human Medicine, Health Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities.

7. French Government Scholarship (Eiffel Scholarship)

This French government scholarship program gives an opportunity to foreign students to study a master degree or PhD degree at French universities in France. For master’s degree applicants, the Eiffel scholarship is awarded for a period up to 36 months and 12 months for PhD students. 10. Danish Government Scholarships

13. Singapore International Graduate Award

The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) is a collaboration between the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). PhD training will be carried out in English at your chosen lab at A*STAR Research Institutes, NTU, NUS or SUTD. Students will be supervised by distinguished and world-renowned researchers in these labs.

14. Qatar Scholarships for International Students

The program was created by Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) in cooperation with several prestigious and leading educational institutions in the State of Qatar. The scholarship is available for international students from developing countries interested in pursuing their higher education in Qatar. The program is open to a select choice of training, Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs at partner institutions.

15. Russian Government Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded to talented international students who want to study a Master’s or PhD degree at Russian universities. It is the fifth year the Russian Federation has organized the Open Doors International Olympiad. 16. Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme

Established by the Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong in 2009, the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) aims at attracting the best and brightest students from around the world to pursue their PhD studies in Hong Kong’s universities. About 300 scholarships are awarded each year and recipients receive the following benefits: an annual stipend of HK$322,800 and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$13,500 per year, for a period of up to three years.

17. Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships

The Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships are offered by the Swiss Government via the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS). It aims to enable selected applicants to undertake a PhD, Post-doctoral and research activities at one of the 10 Swiss cantonal universities, the two Swiss federal institutes of technology or the Graduate Institute. 18. Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarships (Master, Phd & Research)

21. Turkish Government Scholarship

Turkish Government Scholarship is a Fully Funded Scholarship for Bachelors, Masters and doctorate degree studies. The Scholarships are open to international students from all over the world to study in the most prestigious universities in Turkey. 24. Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship

The program is open to international students willing to study or conduct their university research in Brunei. 22. Government Of Azerbaijan Scholarship

23. Kazakhstan Government Scholarship for International Students

25. Government Of Poland Łukasiewicz Scholarship

The scholarship provides an opportunity to undertake second-cycle studies free of charge in the fields of exact, natural, technological, agricultural, forestry and veterinary sciences.

26. Government of Flanders Master Mind Scholarships

The Government of Flanders Master Mind Scholarships for International Students aims to promote Flanders and Brussels as a top study destination. Applications will be accepted from all Flemish universities, Schools of Arts and the Antwerp Maritime Academy. Applicants from all nationalities are welcome to apply for the Flanders Master Scholarships.

27. FAO and the Hungarian Government Scholarship for Foreign Students

The program is financed by the Hungarian Government, according to the Agreement between FAO and Hungary in 2007. Scholarships are provided for citizens of selected developing countries to undertake studies and research at the zent István University and Szent István University.

28. TaiwanICDF International Higher Education Scholarship

The TaiwanICDF provides scholarships for higher education and has developed undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. programs in cooperation with renowned partner universities in Taiwan.

29. Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program enables graduate students, young professionals and artists from abroad to study and conduct research in the United States. The Program operates in more than 155 countries worldwide.

30. Government of Mauritius Africa Scholarship

The Mauritius scholarship is awarded to deserving students who are resident citizens of member states of the African Union or of African Commonwealth countries. Winners of the scholarship are given the opportunity to study Undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD degree programs at Mauritius Universities.

31. Orange Knowledge Program to Study in the Netherlands

The OKP scholarships are open in the field of higher and vocational education and in other fields related to the priority themes in the program countries. Orange Knowledge scholarships to study in the Netherlands are open to mid-career professionals who are nationals of selected countries. Short courses usually last from 2 weeks to 12 months while Master’s programs last from 12 to 24 months.

32. Slovak Government Scholarship

The Government of the Slovak Republic Scholarship aims to support the mobility of students, PhD students, university teachers, researchers and artists. The Slovak Government Scholarship is funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic.

33. Italian Government Scholarship for Foreign and Italian Citizens

35. Indian Government ICCR And MEA Scholarships

36. Government Of India PhD Fellowship For ASEAN Students

37. Saltire Scholarship in Scotland for Foreign Students

Offered by the Scottish Government in collaboration with Scottish universities, Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships are open to citizens and permanent residents of multiple countries to pursue a Master’s Degree in Scotland. 39. Moroccan Scholarships For African Youth

42. Ireland-Africa Fellows Program in Ireland

43. Government of Taiwan Fellowships in Social Sciences and Humanities

The scholarship is fully funded and available for foreign experts and scholars interested in research related to Taiwan, cross-strait relations, Asia-Pacific region and Sinology. Established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the MOFA Taiwan Fellowship is fully funded and will be awarded to foreign nationals for a period of 3 to 12 months. 45. Government of Malaysia Technical Cooperation Scholarship

The program aims to share Malaysia’s development experiences and expertise with other developing countries. 47. Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS)

The program was created by the Government of Canada to strengthen Canada’s ability to attract and retain world-class doctoral students and establish Canada as a global centre of excellence in research and higher learning. The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship provides $50,000 per year to selected candidates.

48. Canadian Government Banting Fellowships

The Fellowship provides funding to the very best postdoctoral applicants, both nationally and internationally, who will positively contribute to the country’s economic, social and research-based growth. The scholarship provides $70,000 (taxable) per year. The objective of the Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship program is to attract and retain top-tier postdoctoral talent, both nationally and internationally, develop their leadership potential, and position them for success as research leaders of tomorrow.

49. Mexican Government Scholarship

The scholarship is open for foreign citizens who are interested in studying for a specialization, master’s degree or doctorate, conducting graduate or postdoctoral research, or taking part in an undergraduate or graduate-level academic mobility program. The Call is offered to more than 180 countries, within the framework of bilateral agreements, multilateral mechanisms and special agreements. The program has been suspended since the beginning of the of the pandemic.

50. Indonesian Government Scholarships

The programme provides financial assistance to selected Indonesian Universities to recruit potential international students for undergraduate and master degree studies.
