Numbers of scholarships are offered to international students to study abroad. However, not all scholarships provide coverage for all expenses, and some scholarship winners still have a hard time funding their studies. In this post, you will find a compilation of the 2022-2024 fully funded scholarships for international students that are open for application. These scholarships provide necessary funding for your studies. Scholarships on this page may cover all or most of the following items: tuition fee, monthly stipend, Health insurance, flight ticket, research allowance, conference attendance fees, etc.

This list of fully-funded scholarships for international students are opened for studies in a wide range of domains (from arts and humanities to science and engineering) to foreign students and students from developing countries. You can study or conduct research at undergraduate, master’s, doctoral and Postdoctoral degree levels or receive short term training. Most of these fully funded scholarships are provided by governments while the rest are from universities, organizations, and institutions. These scholarships will allow you to travel and study in different countries in the world. You will experience different cultures, discover new things, make life-long friends, and become a resourceful person.

While the application process for most of the fully funded scholarships does not require you to pay any fee, you may be asked to pay application fees for some. Just make sure that you’re sending your money to the scholarship provider if there is an application fee.

1. Mohamed Bin Zayed University Scholarship in Artificial Intelligence

This scholarship aims to attract both local and international students for master’s and doctoral degree studies at the Mohamed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence in the United Arab Emirates. The program accepts candidates from all countries who hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, and other relevant Engineering majors, without the need for prior working experience. All admitted students at the MBZUAI university will be provided with a fully funded scholarship that includes monthly allowance, health insurance, accommodation, etc.

2. University of Hawaii Graduate Degree Fellowship

The East-West Center Graduate Degree Fellowship is made initially for twelve months but may be renewed for an additional year, subject to funding availability, and satisfactory progress toward completion of the degree and fulfillment of East-West Center requirements. The total award length may be less than 24 months, depending on the academic status of the student at the time the award is given and the time necessary to complete degree requirements. All Graduate Degree Fellowship applicants are also considered for EWCA Alumni and Foundation scholarships.

3. UK Government Chevening Scholarships for Foreign Students

4. Government of the Czech Republic Scholarships

The Government of the Czech Republic Scholarships program is fully funded and provided by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This program is available for citizens of developing countries to study at the Czech Republic higher education institutions. 5. Ashinaga Africa Initiative to Support Orphaned Students

Ashinaga Africa Initiative mission is to contribute to Sub-Saharan Africa’s expanding role in global development through increasing access to higher education abroad. The initiative support orphaned students who are committed to returning home and initiating change, by providing access to full financial support for undergraduate studies at a university abroad. KAUST Scholarship aims to recruit highly qualified candidates to study in graduate programs at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). 10. Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS)

11. NTUST International Student Scholarship

This scholarship is offered by the university’s endowment fund and subsidies from the Ministry of Education to international students enrolling in graduate programs. The scholarship is awarded to admitted international students. Therefore, those who wish to be considered for this scholarship must first apply for admission to the university. NTUST scholarship is a partially and fully sponsored program that may include a one-year waiver of tuition and fees and up to NT$ 12,000 per month for master’s degree students and up to NT$ 18,000 per month for PhD students.

13. ASUS Scholarship Program for Taiwan Tech

The program has been created by ASUS and Taiwan Tech to support international students in pursuing their education and planning for future careers in Taiwan. The ASUS Scholarship program offers Master’s programs for students in electronics, information technology, or management-related disciplines. ASUS scholarship recipients will be offered financial aid, opportunities to join internship programs, and related job training by ASUS during the two-year master’s program. 14. Scholarships for Fine Art, Design, Visual Communication and Film Studies

You can use this scholarship to complete a Master’s degree course/postgraduate degree course leading to a final qualification, or a complementary course without a degree at a state or state-recognized German university of your choice. 15. Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme

Established by the Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong in 2009, the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) aims at attracting the best and brightest students in the world to pursue their PhD studies in Hong Kong’s universities. About 300 scholarships are awarded each year and recipients have the following benefits: an annual stipend of 325 200 HK$ and a conference and research-related travel allowance of 13 600 HK$ per year, for a period up to three years.

16. Stanford University Knight-Hennessy Scholarship for All

Knight-Hennessy Scholars (KHS) receive funding for up to three years for graduate degrees at Stanford. The program provides funding for the degree program listed in the initial KHS admission letter. Scholars who wish to enroll in an additional graduate program may apply to KHS to receive additional funding for up to three years. If a scholar is admitted to a degree program that exceeds three years such as an MD, PhD, or Stanford dual- or joint-degree program, then funding is based on the graduate degree program’s standard funding commitment.

17. Germany Scholarships for Studies in All-Academic Disciplines

These Germany Scholarships are fully funded for qualified graduates who have completed the first degree at the latest by the time they commence their program. The program usually starts on 1st October of the following year after the application, or earlier if a German language course is taken prior to the study program.
