Numbers of scholarships are offered to international students to study abroad. However, not all scholarships provide coverage for all expenses, and some scholarship winners still have a hard time funding their studies. In this post, you will find a compilation of the 2022-2023 fully funded scholarships for international students that are open for application. These scholarships provide necessary funding for your studies. Scholarships on this page may cover all or most of the following items: tuition fee, monthly stipend, Health insurance, flight ticket, research allowance, conference attendance fees, etc.

This list of fully-funded scholarships for international students are opened for studies in a wide range of domains (from arts and humanities to science and engineering) to foreign students and students from developing countries. You can study or conduct research at undergraduate, master’s, doctoral and Postdoctoral degree levels or receive short term training. Most of these fully funded scholarships are provided by governments while the rest are from universities, organizations, and institutions. These scholarships will allow you to travel and study in different countries in the world. You will experience different cultures, discover new things, make life-long friends, and become a resourceful person.

While the application process for most of the fully funded scholarships does not require you to pay any fee, you may be asked to pay application fees for some. Just make sure that you’re sending your money to the scholarship provider if there is an application fee.

1. Government of Romania MEAT Scholarship

The scholarship program is organized by the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism (MEAT) and the Ministry of Education (ME) for international students willing to study at Undergraduate, Master’s and PhD Level in Romania. For the 2022-2023 academic year, 40 scholarships will be granted to eligible foreign citizens to study in Romania.

2. DAAD Helmut Schmidt Master Scholarship in Germany

The program aims to further qualify future leaders in politics, law, economics and administration according to the principles of good governance and to prepare them in a practice-oriented course for their professional life. 3. McCall MacBain Scholarships to Study in Canada

Created in February 2019 by John McCall MacBain and Marcy McCall MacBain through a landmark gift of $200 million, the McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill are Canada’s first leadership-driven scholarship for master’s and professional degree students. This Canada scholarship is opened to all disciplines and available for candidates who are planning to apply for Fall 2022 admission to a full-time Master’s or second-entry professional undergraduate program at McGill University.

4. Chang Gung University Scholarships for International Students

All international students who apply for admission and meet the criteria will be considered for the Chang Gung University Scholarships for International Students. The scholarship offers tuition and miscellaneous fees or credit fees, and living expenses (up to TWD$ 30,000 per month) and Extra scholarship (up to TWD$ 12,000 per month). International students can also apply for research assistant (TWD$ 4,000~24,000 per month) or teaching assistant (TWD$8,000~10,000 per month) positions from colleges or advisors.

14. Government of Mauritius Africa Scholarship

24. Scuola Normale Superiore PhD Scholarship

Various PhD positions to study at the Scuola Normale Superiore (SNS) have been announced for the 2022-2023 academic year. 26. Skoltech Scholarship in Russia for Local and International Students

The scholarship aims to support international students willing to study a Master’s or PhD degree at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) in Russia. 28. Heinrich Böll Foundation scholarships in Germany

The Heinrich Böll Foundation grants scholarships for Undergraduates, Graduates, and Ph.D. degree programs to support both foreign and German students. Applications to undergraduate degree programs are only open for Germans and foreign students educated in Germany.
