The Holland Scholarship for Non-EEA International Students is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to do their Bachelor’s or Master’s in the Netherlands.

This scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science as well as several Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. The Holland Scholarship is awarded to international students wishing to study in the Netherlands.

The Holland Scholarship for Non-EEA International Students amounts to € 5,000 and the grant is awarded for one year and can only be received once.

Holland Scholarship for International Students Eligibility

To apply for the Holland Scholarship, applicants must meet following criteria:

  • hold a citizenship of a non-EEA country;
  • applying for a full-time Bachelor’s or Master’s programme at one of the participating Dutch higher education institutions;
  • meet the specific requirements of the institution of your choice. You can find these on the website of the institution;
  • do not have a degree from an education institution in the Netherlands.

You may also be eligible for the:

  1. Slovak Government Scholarship for International Students;
  2. HKBU International Postgraduate Scholarship (IPS) in Hong Kong;
  3. International Academic Scholarship in Switzerland;
  4. Government of Mauritius Africa Scholarship;
  5. Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI);
