IsDB Turkish Government Scholarship, 2024-2025

Applications are now open for the 2024-2025 IsDB Turkish Government Scholarship for international students. The YTB-IsDB Joint Scholarship Program is available for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and doctoral degree studies. The jointly funded scholarship program is open to students from IsDB Member Countries and Muslim Communities around the globe to study at prestigious Turkish universities. The application process is online and neither IsDB nor Turkiye Burslari does not charge any fees at any stage of the scholarship process

Jointly funded by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and Türkiye Bursları, the IsDB Turkish Government Scholarship program aims to provide educational opportunities for academically meritorious students from eligible countries to pursue full-time studies in Turkey. The program will give a special focus on sustainability sciences to empower communities and assist them in achieving their national and global development plans including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Turkish Government Research Scholarship and the Turkish Government Scholarship for undergraduate and postgraduate studies are two other prestigious scholarships to study in Turkey.

Most programs in Turkish universities are instructed in the Turkish language. However, candidates who wish to study in English must provide evidence of language proficiency (TOEFL or other equivalent certificates). Most of these programs require international admission test scores, such as GRE, GMAT, SAT etc. Candidates must check the language of instruction while selecting their chosen program in the application system.

IsDB Turkish Government Scholarship Eligibility

To apply for this program to study in Turkey, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. be a citizen of one of the countries in the files above.
2. be medically fit and willing to undergo medical tests after selection.
3. a research proposal in one of the fields of study of the program stating its scientific and development relevance to the community/country (Only for PhD applicants).
4. choose a field of study listed among the approved disciplines of the program.
5. meet other requirements of the choosen program.

3. Diploma or temporary certificate of Graduation;

5. Language test scores (if required by the chosen university program);
6. A research proposal and an example of your written work (for PhD applicants only).
