Christmas is a religious and cultural celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ on December 25. The event is celebrated by billions of people (especially Christians) around the world annually. During the Christmas period, families share gifts (mostly for children) that are allegedly left by Santa Claus on Christmas morning. Many attend church services on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning when traditional Christmas songs are sung, and later gather for a dinner with family and friends. The After Christmas Top ten scholarships provides a list of top scholarships to apply for after the Christmas period.

1. ANSO Scholarship For International Students In China

The Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) Scholarship for Young Talents provides young students/scholars who are non-Chinese citizens an opportunity to pursue postgraduate education at the colleges or schools of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) or institutes of CAS around China. Every year, up to 200 master students and 300 PhD students from all over the world will be sponsored to study in CAS.

2. Islamic Development Bank Scholarship for Undergraduate, Master, PhD and Post Doctoral

The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Scholarhsip programme is a unique opportunity for students, scholars, researchers and doctors to enjoy a fully funded scholarship for studies and research at Undergraduate, Master, PhD and Post Doctoral level in development related fields with a special focus on “Sustainability Science”.

3. Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA)

The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) is a collaboration between the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). The scholarship is open for PhD studies.

4. Erasmus Mundus SERP-Chem Scholarship

The Erasmus Mundus SERP-Chem Scholarship offers a two-year programme and aims at training students in the most performing experimental and theoretical tools used and developed in chemistry. The programme will produce topmost researchers and managers in areas such as: Green chemistry based on photon-induced reactions, Nano-medicine and renewable energies, applications of radiations etc.

5. Scholarship Programme For Christian Young People In Hungary

The Christian Young People Scholarship is open for young Christian students living in crisis regions of the world and/or being threatened in their country because of their faith. This scholarship rank fifth on the After Christmas Top ten scholarships list.

6. Vector Scholarship In Canada For Master Students

The Vector Scholarships in Artificial Intelligence are merit-based awards that recognize top candidates pursuing AI-related studies in Ontario, Canada. Scholarships will be awarded to students in both core technical programs and complementary fields such as business or health care.

7. Vidyasirimedhi Institute Of Science And Technology Scholarship

The Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology Scholarship is a fully funded program that is open for studies at master and PhD level at the institute (in Thailand). Applicants from all nationalities are welcome to apply.

8. Emile-Boutmy Scholarship At Sciences Po For International Students

The Emile-Boutmy Scholarship at Sciences Po is named after the founder of Sciences Po (1871) and have been created to welcome the very best international students from outside the European Union. The Emile Boutmy Scholarship is awarded to top students whose profiles match the admissions priorities of Sciences Po and individual course requirements.

9. Shanghai Jiao Tong University Scholarships (CSC, SGS, SJTUS)

The Shanghai Jiao Tong University Scholarships are open to all eligible applicants, irrespective of their nationalities. The university is a world-renowned higher education institution and one of the top universities in China.

10. VLIR-UOS International Master Scholarship In Belgium

The tenth place on the list of “After Christmas Top ten scholarships” goes to the VLIR-UOS International Master Scholarships. The programme is open for accredited master programmes consisting of 2 or 4 semesters on a subject that is relevant to or specific for development.
