Application for the Sir Emrys Jones Memorial Trust Scholarships Program is now open. The scholarships are available to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students who wish to study at the Royal Agricultural University, who are qualified for their selected programme, and who fulfill one of the eligibility criteria

The Royal Agricultural University (RAU) has been at the forefront of agricultural education and a key contributor to the land-based sector for more than 170 years. Today, the RAU has more than 1,200 students studying agriculture, animal science, business, environment, equine science, farm management, food, real estate and rural land management.

Sir Emrys Jones Memorial Trust Scholarships Benefits

Scholarships will be awarded based on merit to those applicants whose Welsh connection fulfills any one of the eligibility criteria and who also demonstrates academic achievement in their previous studies. Up to £4,500 funding over 3 years will be provided for students from the UK, EU and overseas.

Sir Emrys Jones Memorial Trust Scholarships Eligibility

To participate in the program, candidates must meet qualification requirements for their selected programme, and fulfill one of the eligibility criteria:

  • Have one or more parent or grandparent who is Welsh
  • Live or have lived or have a parent who lives or has lived in Wales
  • Been educated in Wales or have contributed to the cultural or sporting life and heritage of Wales and
  • Be in financial need

You may also be eligible for the:

  1. Friedrich Naumann Foundation Scholarships for Master and PhD;
  2. David and Molly Pyott Scholarships in Ophthalmology;
  3. Google Africa Certification Program For Software Development;
  4. Thailand Government Scholarship for International Students;
  5. Koç University in Turkey Scholarships for Master and PhD;
  6. Zhejiang Normal University MPA Scholarship.

You can apply by completing the online application form and choosing either the undergraduate or postgraduate option together with your Scholarship Reference Form. Please note Scholarship applications cannot be considered without a satisfactory reference.
