Scholarships are awarded for 1 or 2 years to students enrolled in a Master’s program and provides up to 10,000€ per year plus travel expenses.

2. MISTRAL Excellence Scholarships in France

This scholarship program has been created to help foreign students enrolled in a higher education institution abroad who wish to pursue a Master’s degree at Avignon University. Mistral scholarship holders are exempt from tuition fees for enrolling in the Master program. Students who has won the Mistral scholarship and who must complete an integrated internship as part of their course are required to do so in France, except in special cases linked to the constraints of the chosen program. This scholarship provides up to 6 000 euros.

3. Archimedes Institute Scholarship to Study in France

The Archimedes Institute offers one-year scholarships for talented students in the process of registering for a Master 2 (M2) degree in mathematics or computer science and interactions with a view to pursuing a PhD later. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence. The amount of this university scholarship is €1,000 per month, up to a limit of €10,000 per year and is open to applicants of all nationalities who meet the eligibility requirements.

4. Rennes School of Business Scholarships

The Coimbra Group scholarship program for Young Researchers from the European Neighborhood offer short-term visits to young researchers from higher education institutions from countries in the European Neighborhood. The program provides stipends, accommodation, travel costs, health insurance.

6. Lebesgue Center Master Scholarships

The Lebesgue Center and its partners provide support to Masters in mathematics at the University of Rennes 1, the University of Nantes, the ÉNS Rennes, the University of Bretagne Sud, the University of Bretagne Ouest, and the University of Angers, through scholarships and special lectures. The Lebesgue Master scholarship of 10, 000 euros per year is awarded to students in mathematics enrolling in a second year (M2) of our Masters’ programme, fundamental mathematics pathways. The program offers scholarship for 1st year master students in Nantes only.

7. Sophie Germain Scholarship in France

Sophie Germain Scholarship in France is available for students willing to enroll in a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics & applications. Sophie Germain Scholarship is available for french and international students willing to enroll in a Master’s or Ph.D. degree program in «Mathematics and applications». The Master scholarship track is offered for a period of one or two years while the PhD track is offered for 4 years (from M2 to Ph.D.).

8. IMDEA and OROSOUND Scholarships to Study in France

This scholarship program is awarded to excellent international Master’s degree students. The scholarship is open for all candidates who are enrolling in one of the Master’s degree programs offered by Le Mans University. The IMDEA and OROSOUND scholarship program to help study in France provide € 7000 per student and per academic year, for up to two years.

9. Mobil’ITI Master’s Scholarships

Mobil’ITI is a set of measures for grants designed for Master 1 and Master 2 students who follow both IRMIA++ master tracks and the graduate program. These grants do not exempt registration fee for the diploma, but ensure its refund. The grant amounts to between 6 000 and 10 000 euros/year, depending on the candidate situation.

10. Mastercard Foundation Scholarships at Sciences Po

The program aims to support 126 talented African students through their studies and to offer the next generation of leaders a world-class social science education, so they can go on to become changemakers in their home countries. Over six years (2017 – 2022), the Scholars Program will fund 130 scholarships that cover the full cost of tuition fees at Sciences Po and living costs in France during the study period.

11. EUR MINT Scholarships for Master and PhD

These scholarships are open, on a competitive basis, to French and foreign students and awarded on the basis of the quality of the academic records. MINT (Mathematics and Interactions in Toulouse) scholarships offer up to 1 200€ / month for master’s degree students. For PhD students, MINT will cover registration fees at university and travel expenses for foreign students. Selected Ph.D. students will also benefit from travel funding to attend conferences and other scientific events relevant for their research.

12. Grenoble Institute of Technology Foundation Scholarships

Offered by the Grenoble Institute of Technology Foundation, the scholarship program is awarded to excellent international students who are enrolling in one of the Master’s degree programs offered by the Grenoble Institute of Technology. Candidates of all nationalities are eligible to apply and the scholarship can provide up to 5000 euros per semester.

13. Study a Master’s Degree in Europe Scholarship

Offered by the Educations Media Group, the “Study a Master’s in Europe Scholarship” aims to help cover tuition fees. The scholarship will be awarded to students from any country who are enrolling for a master’s degree program in Europe. The program creators believe the scholarship will help to pay tuition fees and get winners one step closer to their next great adventure.

14. Coimbra Group Scholarship – Sub-Saharan Africa Program

This program offers young researchers from Sub-Saharan Africa countries, short-term research visits at partner universities. The main aim of this scholarship program is to enable scholars to undertake research in which they are engaged in their home institution and to help them to establish academic and research contacts.

15. OECD Internship Programme for Students of All Nationalities

The program is designed to bring highly qualified and motivated students with diverse backgrounds into the Organization to work on projects linked to the Strategic Orientations of the Secretary-General and to support the corporate functions of the Organization. Its main goal is to give successful candidates the opportunity to improve their analytical and technical skills in an international environment. OECD grants a contribution to living expenses of around 700 euros per month.
