One Young World’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2020

The One Young World’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award for 2020 is now receiving applications. The One Young World’s Entrepreneur Award was created to highlight the work of revolutionary entrepreneurs who will stand as inspiration for existing entrepreneurs and encourage others to become effective entrepreneurs.

Skills of young entrepreneurs, equipped with rapid technological advancements, are overcoming following problems around the world: The rates of global unemployment, the catastrophic effects of climate change, and the challenges of globalization.

At the heart of every start-up or enterprise is the drive to solve the problem. One Young World believes that the next generation of young entrepreneurs are here to do more than create the next convenient solution. They are here to take on the world’s major challenges.

One Young World’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award Benefits

Selected candidates for the 2020 Entrepreneur of the Year Award will have the following benefits:

1. Access to the entirety of the One Young World Summit 2020 in Munich
2. Hotel accommodation on a private basis between 13 and 17 (inclusive) October 2020
3. The cost of travel to and from Munich (flights in economy)
4. Catering, which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner
5. Transport between the Summit accommodation and the Summit venue

One Young World’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award Eligibility

To be considered for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award, applicants and nominees must:

1. Be aged between 18 and 35 years old
2. Exemplify leadership in their field.
3. Demonstrate the importance of entrepreneurship as a way to effect positive change.
4. Have achieved tangible and material entrepreneurial success (revenue and number of employees can indicate this).

You may also be eligible for the:

1. University of Jinan Scholarship for International Students;
2. Slovak Government Scholarship for International Students;
3. International Academic Scholarship in Switzerland;
4. Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI);
5. University Of Melbourne Scholarships For Graduate Students.
