The French-African Foundation Young Leaders Program is now open for applications. Convinced that the young people of Africa and France belong to a single generation and that they bear shared responsibilities in a world in common, the French-African Foundation wishes to identify, assemble and nurture the most promising high-potential talents in the Franco-African economic, political, academic, social and cultural ecosystems, and to support the leadership and management potential of this new generation through the Young Leaders program for young Africans and French.
The French-African Foundation aims to select candidates that show the talent, passion, and share values that have the potential to contribute to transformative change in Africa and in France. Laureates will spend one week in France in June and one week in Fall 2025 in Madagascar. This program represents an exceptional opportunity to engage with other candidates as well as with national and continental leaders in the public and private sectors and to drive positive impact.

French-African Foundation Young Leaders Program Benefits
Selected applicants for the Young Leaders Program will receive the following benefits:

French-African Foundation Young Leaders Program Eligibility
To apply for this foundation opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Age: between 28 and 40 years old in 2025
- Nationality: must hold French nationality or be a citizen of an AfricanAfrican country
- Language: fluency in English is required; French is appreciated but not mandatory
- Experience: at least three years of leadership experience with a demonstrated impact on your community, country, or region
- Connection to France & Africa: a strong link through personal, professional, or academic experiences
