The One Young World Summit Leading Scholarships for 2024 is now open. Since 2010, One Young World has worked to guarantee that young people from all 196 countries in the world are represented at OYW Summits, regardless of their ability to pay. To ensure this, fully-funded scholarship places are awarded to outstanding young leaders with a range of backgrounds, skill sets, and nationalities.
Leading scholarships aim to help young to attend the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montréal, Canada. If you are a young leader from one of these 6 regions (Africa, America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Pacific), please apply for the One Young World Summit. There are six (6) different scholarship program for all parts of the world as follow:
- Leading Africa scholarship that is available for Africans to attend the OYW summit
- Leading the Pacific scholarship which is open for people from the Pacific regions to participate
- Leading Asia scholarship available for those who are from Asian countries
- Leading Europe scholarship open for Europeans to attend the One Young World Summit
- Leading the Middle East scholarship available for applicants from middle east regions
- and finally, Leading the Americas scholarship for individuals applying from the Americas.

One Young World Summit Leading Scholarships Benefits
Selected candidates for the 2024 One Young World Summit will have the following benefits:
- Access to the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montréal, Canada.
- Hotel accommodation between 17 and 21 September 2024.
- Catering which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- The cost of travel to and from Montréal. Your flight to and from Montréal must depart from and return to one and the same international airport.
Note : If you are ultimately selected for a Scholarship and require a visa to enter Canada, you will be required to pay the visa fee yourself. The visa costs 165 Canadian Dollars plus the applicable service charge of your local visa application centre. The costs of the visa and the applicable service charge as well as any further costs associated with the visa application (including travel to and from the visa application centre) fall on you as the participant.

One Young World Summit Leading Scholarships Eligibility
To apply for the summit scholarship, candidate must have the following profile:
- Are between the ages of 18 – 30
- Have an evidenced commitment to delivering positive change
- Demonstrate capacity for leadership
- Are addressing key local and/or global issues in your work
- Have a track record of generating impactful and innovative ideas
- Are a national (passport-holding citizen) of a country belonging to one of the regions listed above.
Note : Most delegates are between the age of 18 and 30. However, the One Young World team will consider applications from those who are older than 30, pending demonstration of appropriate personal impact, initiative, and willingness to engage. Applicants aged under 18 years old will not be considered.
