Application are currently being received for the Moroccan Scholarships For African Youth. This scholarship program has been created in accordance with the High Royal Guidelines, calling for the development and diversification of South-South cooperation, in particular with African countries. The program will therefore allow African students to study at partner universities without having to worry about registration fees and tuition fees.
The scholarship program has been launched on May 10 by the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Called : Excellence scholarship program for the benefit of students from African countries “Moroccan Scholarships For African Youth”. This is a brand-new scholarship to study in Morocco that will be awarded for the first time during the 2021-2022 academic year.
This program also aims to enable Universities created as part of the partnership and private Universities to actively participate in the national effort to train senior officials and elites of African countries. In total, 11 Moroccan universities are participating in this 1st edition of the Excellence scholarship program for the benefit of students from African countries “Moroccan Scholarships For African Youth” program.

Benefits of the Moroccan Scholarships For African Youth
A total of 303 scholarships for excellence, in 119 fields, in the form of total exemptions from registration fees and tuition fees, in the different cycles and fields of study, in addition to social benefits will be offered to students from African countries. This clearly means that selected candidates will not have to pay the registration fees and tuition fees for the duration of their studies at the partner university in Morocco. In addition, they will have access to social benefits, which are not detailed in the official announcement.

Moroccan Scholarships For African Youth Eligibility
To apply for the Excellence Program for African Students, applicants must:
- be a national of one of the African countries;
- have a High school diploma to apply for Undergraduate programs;
- have Bachelor’s degree to apply for Master’s degree programs;
- hold a master’s degree to apply for doctoral degree programs;
