Applications are currently being received for the now open for the Lebesgue Master Scholarship to study in France. The scholarship is open for candidates from all corners of the world who are willing to enroll in one of the eligible Master’s degree at the University of Rennes 1, the University of Nantes, the ÉNS Rennes, the University of Bretagne Sud, the University of Bretagne Ouest, and the University of Angers.
The Henri Lebesgue scholarship is awarded to students in mathematics enrolling in a second-year (M2) fundamental and applied mathematic pathways Master’s program by the Henri Lebesgue Center together with Ambition Lebesgue Loire and the Fondation de Rennes 1. The scholarship program aims to support master’s degree students to study mathematics and related fields. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other regular remuneration.
Master 1 scholarships for the year 2024/25 will go to female candidates only. M1 scholarships may be supplemented by an M2 scholarship. The M2 scholarships are open to all students who have completed the first year of a master in mathematics (or related) at the end of the current academic year. The courses of the second year of Master (M2) may be taught in English. Applications are open from October to March 1st. The results of the selection process will be published in April.

Lebesgue Master Scholarship Benefits
The total amount of university scholarship program to study in France is 10.000€ per student and per academic year (September 1st to August 31st).
The payment of the scholarship will be on a monthly basis, from September to June. The scholarship includes an internship gratification unless the lab decides to pay internship gratification. Students should ask their tutors and the admission office for more information.
Note : The selection will be based on the academic quality of the applicant and carried out by the Lebesgue Scientific Committee and the heads of the Masters’s programs.

The selection process will be based on the academic quality of the transcripts, the motivation, and the recommendation letters.
The M2 scholarships are open to all students who have completed the first year of a master’s degree in mathematics at the end of the current academic year. Female applications and applications from foreign countries will be particularly appreciated.

Master 1 Applicants:
Students applying for an Ambition Lebesgue Loire M1 scholarship are required to fill in the following form. The form will be validated when you click on the “submit” button at the bottom of the page. Applicants from certain countries are required to complete an online process to obtain a student visa. Please visit the Campus France website for more details. Students concerned with the Etudes en France procedure need to do it individually on top of the application on the Lebesgue website. Both procedures are compulsory. Please check the Campus France website as soon as possible since some procedures have to be done before January 31st 2024.
