Applications are now opened for the Digital Inclusion Scholarship for One Young World Summit. With One Young World Telefónica Hispanoamérica join forces promoting initiatives that contribute to the strengthening of digital capabilities in all parts of Latin America. The company aims to promote universal access to digital services, and approach digital inclusion from a cross-cutting vision that includes the pillars of Accessibility and Affordability, as well as Digital Skills, Connectivity and Innovation in Digital Content and Services.

For more than 20 years, the Telefónica Foundation has been working in the formal and non-formal education sector to enrich teaching proposals through the introduction of new technologies (ICT) not only as practices for innovation and school transformation, but also as valuable tools for inclusion.
The annual One Young World Summit convenes the brightest young talent from every country and sector, working to accelerate social impact. During the event, delegates from more than 190 countries are counselled by influential political, business and humanitarian leaders. The One Young World Summit 2021 will take place in Munich, Germany from 22 to 25 July 2021.

Digital Inclusion Scholarship Benefits
Selected candidates for the summit will have the following benefits:

Digital Inclusion Scholarship Eligibility
To be eligible to receive for the Peace Summit, applicants must be:
- Aged 18 – 30 at the time of the One Young World Summit 2021 which will take place from 22-25 July 2021.
- Be a citizen of an eligible country.
- Lead an initiative focused on bridging the digital divide in Latin America.
- Lead an initiative with a special focus on innovation.
- Evidenced impact of the initiative.
- Demonstrated capacity for leadership.
- Commitment and potential benefit to the communities or territories where he/she belongs.
- Willingness to be fully engaged with Movistar Delegates.
- Motivation to participate in One Young World.
