Chevening LSE Global Impact Fellowship

 DEADLINE :
 LEVEL : Research
 FUNDING : Fully Funded
 PLACE : UK
STATUS : 22 Days left

The Chevening LSE Global Impact Fellowship is now open for applications. This is for mid-career professionals from China who want to carry out research at the London School of Economics and Political Science. The program welcomes applications across all social science disciplines, with a particular emphasis on international relations, public policy and administration, public diplomacy, social, economic, and environmental policy, and development studies. The deadline is 6 October 2026 at 11:00 UTC.

Three successful applicants will be selected. They will work on a defined research project at LSE. You are not required to secure an advisor at LSE when applying, but it helps if you have someone in mind. Once selected, fellows are expected to identify and secure an advisor and will be hosted in a department, institute, or center at LSE that aligns with their research interests. During the fellowship, you will complete a paper and present it at the end. You may also audit relevant lectures (subject to instructor approval) and join seminars and discussion groups. All applications must include a research proposal.

This is not for people who want a taught degree. It is for professionals who want time and resources to produce serious research. The fellowship is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and hosted by LSE.
