Bilkent University Scholarships Benefits

Master degree scholarship holders may be considered for PhD scholarship if they have been found successful during the thesis work or upon successful completion of the Master program.

Bilkent University Scholarships Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship to study in Europe, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• have a Bachelor’s of science or MSC degree with at least 2.80/4.00 CGPA.
• ALES is required from resident Turkish citizens who are applying for the graduate programs.
  • MS: 55 (quantitative)
  • PhD: 55 (quantitative, for those who hold an MS degree with thesis)
  • PhD: 80 (quantitative, for those who do not hold an MS degree with thesis).
• Those applicants who are not Turkish citizens, and Turkish citizens who have completed their undergrad degrees without enrolling in a Turkish University may provide GRE General Test scores instead of ALES. All other applicants must provide ALES to apply to the graduate school.
  • MS: Minimum quantitative: 153
  • PhD: Minimum quantitative: 157
  • (GRE ETS CODE:0620).
• TOEFL IBT(at least 87), IELTS (at least 6.5 average and 5.5 from each section) or Bilkent COPE (at least C).

The Awardee is expected to disseminate the results of his/her thesis research work being carried out at UNAM, by one of the means of which is intended to be UNAM’s travel support for his/her oral presentation at a well-known/-respected peer-reviewed conference.
