The Awaji Youth Federation Fellowship is a fully funded program that is open for the next generation of leaders with the passion to challenge themselves. The program has been created in a way that lets fellows develop their skills and abilities without being burdened financially. All fellows will be employed by Pasona Group Inc. and enjoy a monthly salary.

This Japan job opportunity is open to youths from all countries in the world, who meet the eligibility criteria. Selected applicants will work alongside experienced personnel to gain valued skills while receiving a monthly salary, including accommodation & Utilities. The program will provide support for the study of the Japanese language online.

Selected applicants who effectively demonstrate their abilities and make notable contributions to the growth and advancement of Awaji Island, in line with the vision and strategic direction of the Pasona Group, will have the opportunity to extend their stay on Awaji Island beyond the fellowship. This extension will allow them to continue working on innovative initiatives and projects.

Awaji Youth Federation Fellowship Benefits

This fellowship program will provide successful applicants with the following benefits:

  1. Monthly Salary of JPY 197,000 (Base salary + Overtime)
    • Government Taxes, Pension and Insurance fees will be deducted
    • Japanese class fees will be deducted
    • Accommodation & Utilities included.
  2. Accommodation & Utilities
    • Individual room in either Japanese or Western style.
    • Utility costs such as electricity and Wi-Fi are included.
  3. Fellowship Activities
    • 5 days a week of working & learning/li>
    • 10 days of paid leave available six months into the program.
  4. Meals (Working Days only) : Although Fellows are responsible for their own food, Pasona can offer discounted meals. It is not guaranteed that these meals fit all dietary restrictions.

Note : Selected applicants will be required to independently finance their travel expenses to and from Japan.

Awaji Youth Federation Fellowship Eligibility

To qualify for this Japan fellowship program, the Ideal Candidate must have the following profile:

  • Experience: You’ve got 2-3 years of experience in one of our Fellowship focus areas. You thrive in startup environments and fast-paced settings, and you’re ready to take your skills to the next level.
  • Age: In principle, you’re between 24-30 years old and ready to dive into this exciting opportunity. Individuals are assessed on merit, however the program does not consider this fellowship to be an appropriate opportunity for people aged 35 and above or. Those with significant family and marital commitments should inform the Secretariat upon applying.
  • Education: You hold a Bachelor’s degree or above as a legal requirement for the working visa, and showcasing your commitment to continuous learning and growth.
  • Language Skills: You’re fluent in English (TOEIC 800 or equivalent), and if you’ve got a handle on Japanese (JLPT N1-N3), that’s a huge plus!
