The application call for the XMU New International Students Scholarships will open from February 1 to April 15, 2021. The scholarship program has been created by Xiamen University (XMU) in 2006 to support international students willing to study a Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree programs. The Xiamen University Scholarship winners will have their tuition fees waived. Furthermore, a living allowance will be provided to outstanding students in accordance with the standards of the Chinese Government Scholarship.

Xiamen University has strong expertise in chemistry, journalism, mathematics, fine arts, economics and management, law, and communication. XMU New International Students Scholarships Eligibility
To apply for the XMU New International Students Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.
- Educational background and age limits (as of September 1, 2020):
- Bachelor’s degree programs: hold a high school diploma or above and be under the age of 25;
- Master’s degree programs: hold a bachelor’s degree or above and be under the age of 40;
- Doctoral degree programs: hold a master’s degree or above and be under the age of 45.
You may also be eligible for the:
- Chinese Government Scholarship China-Africa Friendship Program;
- NEAU Chinese Government Scholarship for Foreign Students;
- Scholarships at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications;
- Scholarships at Xi’an Jiaotong University in China;
- Chinese Government Scholarship at Wuhan University.

Applicants are required to apply online and upload the scan copy of the Application Form for Xiamen University Scholarships. The Scholarships Application Form should be completed in Chinese or English and signed by the applicant.
