The UNESCO Youth Leadership Workshop on GCED in 2022 (8th edition) will focus on empowering young people as trainers/educators for GCED and seeking effective strategies to maximize youth contribution in fostering global citizenship.

In this context, the Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) is committed to empowering youth by providing a platform, Youth Leadership Workshop on GCED, where young people can meet, share, and work together to drive changes towards a Culture of Peace at various levels.

This year, the Workshop aims to provide a venue for young education advocates for knowledge & experience sharing on innovative approaches to GCED in the changing learning environment. In the Workshop, participants are expected to bring their own experiences on fostering global citizenship in a digital learning environment or challenging situations and seek effective and innovative ways to bolster such efforts.
