Applications are being received for the Hauwa Ojeifo Scholarship to Attend One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich,Germany. Despite global efforts, the world is far from achieving gender equality by 2030. Persistent challenges such as limited access to health services, sexual and reproductive rights, and widespread mental health disparities continue to hinder the progress of women and girls globally. Issues like psychosocial disability, early marriage, and lack of decision-making power remain deeply rooted and unresolved.
In response to these urgent issues, the Hauwa Ojeifo Scholarship was launched to support young changemakers working tirelessly to address these inequalities. This prestigious program empowers emerging leaders by offering them the tools, mentorship, and international exposure needed to drive systemic change in their communities and beyond.
The scholarship is a collaboration between One Young World and the Hauwa Ojeifo Global Impact Fund for Women & Girls. Spearheaded by mental health advocate Hauwa Ojeifo, this initiative aims to strengthen healthcare and support systems for 100 million women and girls by the year 2030.
