The Ernst and Young Entrepreneurial Winning Women programme targets “the missing middle” — those savvy women founders who have built profitable companies but have not yet found the essential tools needed to expand sustainably. EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women is an executive leadership programme that identifies a select group of high-potential women entrepreneurs whose businesses show real potential to scale — and then helps them do it.
EY gives the founders ongoing access to a vast resources, rich networks and know-how, helping to strengthen their abilities to become market leaders. At the same time, the programme creates a vibrant global community of successful women entrepreneurs and inspiring peer role models.

Entrepreneurial Winning Women are coached to embrace ambitious growth plans starting with the “5 ways to win” — five key things that successful entrepreneurs must do to scale small companies into large ones:
- Think big and be bold
- Build a public profile
- Work on the business, rather than in it
- Establish key advisory networks
- Evaluate financing for expansion
Eligibility:
Applicants for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneurial Winning Women programme must feat the following criteria to participate:
- Have a substantial ownership of the business – at least 50%
- Businesses must be at least three years old and have reported at least R2.5m revenue during the last fnancial year.
- Provide complete and full fnancials in addition to completing application form fnancials
- Provide colour high resolution professional photograph in jpg format
- Provide conscise and approved bio of yourself, including the business in word format – no more than 380 words.
- Have decision making roles and –
- Demonstrate passion to grow their business and scale up
- Are ready to fully commit to the programme and attend the series of four workshops in Johannesburg over the twelve months
- Demonstrate passion to grow their business and scale up
- Businesses must be at least three years old and have reported at least R3.5m revenue during the past two years.
