Applications are now open for the University of Saskatchewan Dean’s Scholarship to study in Canada. The Usask Dean’s scholarship aims to attract high-caliber students from all over the world to study at the University of Saskatchewan. These scholarships will be offered to students who have outstanding academic records, show research potential and are registering for the first time in a thesis or dissertation-based graduate program in January, May, or September of 2023 at the University of Saskatchewan.
Those who would like to be considered for this scholarship program to study in North America are welcome to apply for admission to their chosen Masters or Ph.D. degree program at the University of Saskatchewan. Admitted students will use their “NSID” to log into the “Survey Monkey” system and complete the application for the scholarship. NSID are automatically created for every person who becomes a student, researcher, employee, and instructor at USask. The university has a variety of funding sources that graduate students can combine with this scholarship. Usask Dean’s scholarships are available for Canadian citizens, permanent residents as well for international students.

University of Saskatchewan Dean’s Scholarship Eligibility
This scholarship will be awarded to students who are registering for the first time in a thesis or dissertation-based graduate program in January, May, or September 2023 at the University of Saskatchewan. Therefore, to be eligible for this scholarship, students must:
- have an entrance GPA of at least 85.0%;
- show proof of research productivity (at least 1 publication or 1 presentation);
- have applied for a Master’s thesis or Doctoral graduate program at the University of Saskatchewan;
- be starting their graduate program (master or PhD) in either January, May, or September 2023.
