The Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) is an intergovernmental process established in 1996 to foster dialogue and cooperation between Asia and Europe. Presently it comprises 53 partners: 30 European and 21 Asian countries, the European Union and the ASEAN Secretariat. ASEM addresses Political, Economic, and Social, Cultural & Educational issues of common interest, in a spirit of mutual respect and equal partnership. The 9th Model ASEM of Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) will allow participants to have Diplomacy skills-training and Contribute to the ASEM Process.

Benefits
No registration or participation fees is required for the 9th Model ASEM of Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF). Accommodation, meals and travel subsidy will be provided. Opportunity to interact with with ASEM Foreign Ministers and Delegation members as well as with representatives of ASEM Diplomatic Missions and International Organisations. Diplomacy skills-training and Participation in the political dialogue between Asia and Europe.
Eligibility
- Citizens of any of the 51 Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Partner countries
- Students from all levels (undergraduate, graduate, etc.) and all disciplines, between the ages of 18-30
- Strong verbal and written command of English
