Cameron Impact Scholarship for the Class of 2027

 DEADLINE :
 LEVEL : Undergraduate
 FUNDING : Partially Funded
 PLACE : USA
STATUS : 48 Days left

Applications are now open for the Cameron Impact Scholarship, a highly selective undergraduate award created by the Bryan Cameron Education Foundation. Each year, only a small group of exceptional high school seniors are chosen. The scholarship is built for students who combine academic excellence with leadership, service, and a clear intention to improve the communities around them. In short: students who don’t just talk about impact but actually try to make it happen.

The Cameron Impact Scholarship is a four-year, full-tuition program that supports recipients throughout their undergraduate studies at any accredited college or university in the United States. Tuition, mandatory fees, and required books are covered. The program typically selects around 15 Cameron Impact Scholars each year, making it one of the more competitive merit scholarships available to graduating high school students in the United States.

Unlike many scholarships that lean heavily on financial need, this one is strictly merit-based. Applicants are evaluated on academic performance, leadership history, extracurricular involvement, and demonstrated commitment to service or civic engagement. The Foundation is particularly interested in students who intend to use their education to create measurable positive change over the course of their careers.

Applications for the high school graduating Class of 2027 are currently being accepted. Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis, and the Foundation will accept up to 3,000 completed and eligible applications. Once that number is reached, the application portal closes even if the official deadline has not yet arrived.

  • Payment of mandatory university fees.
  • Coverage of required academic books.
  • Participation in the Cameron Impact Scholar community and annual awards events.

Note : The Cameron Impact Scholarship is strictly merit-based. Financial need is not used as a selection criterion. Cameron Impact Scholarship Eligibility

To apply for this undergraduate scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Maintain a minimum cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
  • Be a citizen of the United States.
  • Be a member of the high school graduating Class of 2027.
  • Plan to enroll full-time in a degree program at an accredited four-year U.S. college or university for the academic year immediately following graduation.

How to Apply for the Cameron Impact Scholarship

The application process is completed online through the official Cameron Impact Scholarship platform. Applicants must first create an account and then complete the full application, including essays and document uploads. The system does not allow applicants to save progress and return later to edit, so preparing answers in advance is strongly recommended.

  • Applicant Profile Form completed on the official scholarship website.
  • Account Registration by creating a username and password and activating the account through the confirmation email.
  • Online Application including required essays and information.
  • Two Recommendation Letters, with one coming from current school-affiliated personnel.
  • Academic Transcript confirming academic performance (an unofficial copy is acceptable).

Supporting documents may be uploaded directly through the application system. Alternatively, recommendation letters and transcripts may be sent by email to [email protected]. Applications missing required materials will not be reviewed, and the Foundation does not grant deadline extensions.

Applicants should keep in mind that the online system does not allow users to save work and return later. Because of that limitation, many applicants prepare essay responses in a document editor first, then paste them into the application form when ready to submit.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. The Foundation accepts up to 3,000 completed and eligible applications. Once that number is reached, submissions close even if the calendar still shows time remaining.

In practical terms, waiting until the final days can be risky. Technical issues happen, internet connections fail, and the application cap may arrive sooner than expected. The Foundation makes it clear that it does not assume responsibility for submission problems that occur at the last minute.

Applicants who submit incomplete applications, or who fail to send transcripts or recommendation letters, will not move forward in the review process.

After the initial review stage, approximately 100 finalists will be selected for in-person interviews during the fall of 2026, typically conducted at the applicant’s high school. Final scholarship recipients will be announced in December 2026. Recipients are expected to attend the Cameron Impact Scholarship annual awards ceremony each year during the scholarship period. The event takes place in a different U.S. city annually and serves as a gathering point for the scholar community.

The official deadline for the Class of 2027 is when the program reaches 3,000 completed applications or on , whichever happens first. For more details on the Cameron Impact Scholarship, please visit the official page.
