The Dell Scholars program is a scholarship and college completion program that nurtures and empowers students on their path to a college degree. They receive financial assistance, academic advising, career coaching, and a team of experts who stay with them. Since 2004, the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation has supported 6,000 scholars, including more than 4,500 college graduates. This is not a general scholarship for anyone anywhere. It is built for Texas high school seniors who plan to attend an accredited four-year public college or university in Texas.

The program takes a personalized approach. Academic support means regular check-ins with advisors and resources to help you balance classes, set goals, and make decisions. Financial support is a $20,000 flexible scholarship that covers tuition and housing. It also includes a laptop, book credits, and emergency funds. Professional support gives you guidance to explore careers and build connections. Wellness support gives you free teletherapy.

To be eligible for the 2027 application cycle, you must be a high school senior graduating from a Texas high school. You must participate in an approved college readiness program in grades 11 and 12. You must plan to enroll in an accredited four-year public college or university in Texas. You must be Pell Grant eligible. And you must have at least a 2.4 GPA. Strong candidates show a strong sense of purpose, a career-driven mindset, perseverance, and self-motivation.

How to Apply for the Dell Scholars Program

Eligible applicants who would like to apply for this North America opportunity should complete the online application. The first step is completing the online application. Once submitted, all applications are assessed, and a group of finalists is selected. Finalists are asked to submit a current copy of their high school transcript, a FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS), and other required information.
